of Astrology - by Robert Perry, Published by Quantum,
Foulsham ISBN 0572030592
If you have every wanted to
arm yourself against the critics of Astrology then this book
will give you the ammunition. It gives an overview in
current research into astrology. Information on the
different strands of astrology and a humorous take on the
different types of astrologer. Designed for the novice
and expert alike it will tell you what arguments are used to
explain astrology and argue against those that do not
believe in a non judgemental and humorous way. the following
extract is a typical example of how to counter an argument.
'How can the planets have
any effect on us? I've never felt anything. You can't tell
me that a few lumps of rock and gas millions of miles away
can exert any kind of influence.,
Sparring: ' Well, they do,
Influences from such distances are being recorded all the
time. Astronomical phenomena affect everything from the
quality of radio transmissions to the degree of haemorrhages
during surgical operations.."
Mapping Your Sex Life by Stephanie Jean Clement, Published
by Llewellyn ISBN 0738706442
Designed as part of the Astrology Made simple Series this
book is idea for those that have learnt the basics of
astrology but want to develop their knowledge that bit
further. The book comes with a cut down version of Kepler
astrological software which is very good, though it would
have been even better had the software allowed for
integration into my full package version of Kepler. The
interpretations are on the racy side and designed for those
that want to find out about and only about the sex life of
the charts they calculate. The book has all the delineations
to interpret a chart and some case examples to ensure that
you get the most from this package.
