TAROT Course page

Here is a course which explains the wonders of the tarot in such a way that you will very quickly be independent of books and course notes. Learning to read images, pictures and be inspired by symbology will awaken your own inspirational and intuitive ability once and for all. Every symbol you see on advertising hoardings and pictures on books and in magazines will reflect one of the many aspects of the tarot. It is everywhere we look and in everything we see.

Tarot encapsulates our worldly experiences in totality and by seeing where we sit right now we can see where we have been, why we got there, where we might be heading and what we can do to amend that if we wish to. Tarot helps us over come the hurdles in life more knowingly and assists us in seizing opportunity when it is presented.

This course offers a wonderful start for beginners but it will also help those who are well on their way and have got a little lost and feel jaded or stuck with the subject. Look at things differently and you will see different aspects of the tarot. Fill in the missing blanks in your understanding and gobble up the hints and tips to help you remember things and release your inhibited thinking.

The tarot has managed to represent our woes and our successes throughout the ages. Learn to use this wise tool well. Awaken your own perceptive talents and be prepared to be amazed at what it can reveal to you about yourself and others.

 Question

Tarot Card Combinations – by Dorothy Kelly Weiser

You may or may not agree with some of the authors card combinations and there meanings but this book will certainly stretch your thinking and make you consider just what different groupings of cards convey to you. Illustrating reversed and upright combinations this book offers much food for thought for tarot students.

Q. What is the correct way to turn a tarot card over to avoid accidentally reversing it?

A.  Card skill comes by formulating a routine, a habit, a discipline or a ritual and sticking to it. Practice sitting with a deck of upright cards which are faced down in a single pile. You aim to turn over and place a card to the left, right, top and bottom of this pile, or one to the north, south, west and east.  Explore how you reverse or twist cards when doing this. The answer is to turn each card over like the pages of a book before you place it down in its chosen position. By observing how you move cards you will learn how to develop your card discipline.

Inspiration.

Churches have spires which conically reach for the heavens, witches hats form a spire shape which were placed upon their heads. Dunce’s conical hat shapes were not always used to humiliate someone who did not know but were placed upon their heads to actually inspire them and bring higher thought down into conscious thought. We may care to ask ourselves that if shape and form do channel and convey energies then we can be inspired when we sit under a spire shape. Gain in-spire-ation and be inspired more often by sitting under a spire or conical shape.
